INTRODUCTION
  
 
GENERAL:
 
 
           Wah Medical College is part of a composite Medical Education Programme, undertaken by the POF Welfare Trust, a subsidiary of POF Board Wah Cantt. The College is approved by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and is affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore, a public sector University. POF hospital, which is 600-bedded, is its teaching hospital for the clinical training of the students.

MISSION:
    

 
        To offer approved and accredited programmes that not only exceed PMDC and CPSP standards but also meet the British or the American accrediting agency requirements by producing doctors who are blessed with the abilities to act as leaders, decision makers, managers, communicators and health care providers hence making them more responsive to the needs of the people.
  
       
 
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
    

 
  • To teach all the current methodologies and clinical practices.
  • To create an environment conducive to learning and skill development.
  • To improve professional skills and knowledge by designing lessons, providing internet material and arranging conferences, seminars, workshops and activities singly or jointly sponsored with local and overseas institutes, colleges and universities of repute.
