Ans. It is mandatory to appear in the MCAT examination being organized by provincial or Federal Government to apply for open merit seats. MCAT examination for the province of Punjab is scheduled to be conducted by UHS Lahore. Candidates of other provinces/ Federal area may appear in Entrance Test for admission in medical colleges being conducted by respective Provinces/ Federal Government. For admission on Overseas/ Foreign Self-Finance seats, a candidate must have appeared in the Entrance Test of the respective Province/ Federal Government or passed SAT II examination with a minimum score of 550 in each of the three science subjects of which two have to be Biology and Chemistry. |
