  Ans. It is about 30 KMs from Islamabad on GT road towards Peshawar.
   
Q.2 How is the weather at Wah Cantt?
  Ans. Weather at Wah Cantt is hot / humid in summers (maximum 44° C) and cold in winters (minimum 0° C).
   
Q.3 What is the accreditation status of WMC?
  Ans. College is recognized by PM&DC for imparting MBBS training and is affiliated with University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore. It is registered by World Health Organization (WHO) and ECFMG.
   
Q.4 Which hospital is affiliated with WMC for teaching purpose?
  Ans. POF Hospital which is a 663 bedded category “A” Hospital is affiliated with Wah Medical College.
   
Q.5 Is House job opportunity available at POF hospital for passing out graduates?
  Ans. House job opportunity is available on merit at POF Hospital.
   
Q.6 How many new students are inducted in one academic year?
  Ans. 100 students are inducted in one academic year.

Q.8 What Extra Curricular Activities are available for the students of WMC?
 
Ans. Excellent sports facilities are available at POF sports complex. Debate competitions are also arranged for students. Students are encouraged to write articles  for College Magazine / POF Magazine. Besides this workshops and seminars are also held on health related issues.
   
Q.9 Where is the health cover provided to the students of WMC?  
  Ans. Medical check / treatment to students is provided at POF hospital.

Q.11 What is the criteria for admission against open merit seats?
  Ans. Candidates with minimum 660 FSc marks and appeared in the latest UHS entrance test are eligible to apply for admission.
   
Q.12 What is the criteria for admission on Foreign seats?
 
Ans. Candidates having minimum 660 marks in FSc or equivalent to 660 marks in A levels and must have appeared in the latest UHS entrance test or passed SAT II examination with a minimum score of 550 in each of the three subjects of which two have to be Biology and Chemistry & having foreign or dual nationality can apply for admission.
   
Q.13 Is it compulsory to appear in the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) conducted by UHS to apply for admission?
 
Ans. It is mandatory to appear in the MCAT examination being organized by provincial or Federal Government to apply for open merit seats. MCAT examination for the province of Punjab is scheduled to be conducted by UHS Lahore. Candidates of other provinces/ Federal area may appear in Entrance Test for admission in medical colleges being conducted by respective Provinces/ Federal Government. For admission on Overseas/ Foreign Self-Finance seats, a candidate must have appeared in the Entrance Test of the respective Province/ Federal Government or passed SAT II examination with a minimum score of 550 in each of the three science subjects of which two have to be Biology and Chemistry.
 
The entry test of one provincial authority shall be acceptable for admission in other provinces in private colleges.
   
Q.14 How many batches of MBBS graduates have passed out so far from WMC?
  Ans. Three batches have been passed out so far.
   
Q.15 Is transport facility available for students coming from Rawalpindi/ Islamabad?
  Ans. Transport facility is available for students coming from Rawalpindi / Islamabad. 
A sum of Rs 2500/- is charged per month.
   
Q.16 Does the college provide any scholarship for the students?
  Ans. College offers Tuition Fee concession (for one year) to students who secure individual positions at University level during annual exams held by UHS as under:-
