Wah Medical College is open to all academically qualified candidates of either sex, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, or domicile. Students from anywhere in Pakistan and overseas may apply. There is no admission against donations. Competition for admission is intense. Possession of minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. |

There are a total of 100 seats, which are open to all eligible national and international candidates for competition. Selection of 100 students out of total applicants is made purely on merit. |

CRITERIA |

To apply the candidate should have passed:
F.Sc (Pre Medical) securing at least 60% marks in aggregate, unadjusted, from a Board of Higher Secondary School Education in Pakistan.
OR
Any other examination conducted by foreign examining body which in scope and standard is equivalent to the F.Sc (Pre Medical) of a Pakistani Board of Higher Secondary School Education. The marks/grades must be equivalent to or more than 60% as equated by Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad.
A good command on English language is essential for all the students, as medium of instructions is English. A foreign applicant will, therefore, submit an additional certificate to the effect that the he/she can read, write and speak English fluently. The certificate will be obtained from a competent authority of the country concerned.
Only one Entry Test will be conducted by UHS for all category of candidates on 27 Sep 09. Passing of Entrance Test of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore with a minimum score of 40% marks is mandatory for admission to Public and Private Medical & Dental institutions of the Punjab.
For admission to private Medical & Dental institutions of the Punjab, candidates of other provinces, Overseas Pakistais, Foreign Nationals and Pakistan origin dual nationality holders shall have to pass UHS entrance Test 2009.

According to a decision taken in 106th meeting of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council, held on 15th Jan 2007, age limit has been abolished for admission in MBBS. |

MERIT COMPUTATION |
|
| |
A Uniform Entry Test will be conducted by University of Health Sciences as per PM&DC rules. Test centre, date and venue for test will be advertised by UHS in all leading dailies. A detailed marks certificate will be issued to each candidate by university according to following weightage:-
FSc/equivalence 70 %
Entry Test 30 %
Final selection will be made after an interview |
